HP Laserjet Enterprise 600 M602 – Avoid Duplicate Installs
Question:
we have multiple Printer HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M602 installed on different locations, printers on different locations are connected via USB to a Dock Station, When a use goes from 1 location to other location and docks the tough pad in dock station.. another copy of the printers gets installed Copy 1 Copy 2,
We don’t want copies of printers to be installed as on all locations we have same model..
Can you please advice how to avoid multiple copies and one generic installed printer prints on all locations..

Since they are USB attached you don’t have any options.
Each USB printer is recognized as a different device so you cannot print to one with the driver setup for another.
