HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M552, M553 and MFP M577 – Lines/streaks, toner dust, and/or excessive cleaning cycles
Issue Description:
Some users may experience the following symptoms:
Lines and/or streaks on printed pages
Noticeable toner dust inside the printer
More ‘cleaning cycles’ than usual
Solution:
Go to the Software and Drivers Download page at HP.com and install the latest available firmware for the printer.

Ensure that the Toner Collection Unit (TCU) is not full. If the TCU is full, it must be replaced.

From the control panel of the printer, print a Cleaning Page: Device Maintenance > Calibration/Cleaning > Cleaning Page.
